Seahawks Trade for Quarterback Terrelle Pryor

Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have acquired quarterback Terrelle Pryor from the Oakland Raiders in exchange for a 2014 seventh-round draft pick, the team announced this afternoon.
“Terrelle is an incredibly explosive athlete and we’re excited for him to come in and compete,” said John Schneider, Seahawks executive vice president of football operations and general manager.
Pryor was originally drafted by the Raiders as a third-round pick in the 2011 supplemental draft. He played in 15 games with 10 starts in three seasons in Oakland, completing 170 of 302 passes (56.3%) for 1,953 yards, nine touchdowns, 12 interceptions and a 69.3 passer rating. He also rushed 93 times for 627 yards for a 6.7 average with three touchdowns, with a long of 93 yards for a touchdown. He recorded one reception for 22 yards.
Nine of Pryor’s starts came in the 2013 season, when he played in 11 games, completing 156 of 272 passes (57.4%) for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 69.1 passer rating. Read
