Good morning, 12s.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Friday, April 11 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Elliot Harrison of NFL.com has ranked what he believes to be the Top 20 quarterbacks of all-time, and no, current Seahawks signal caller Russell Wilson did not make Harrison's cut. But former Seahawks quarterback and current team broadcaster Warren Moon did at No. 19. On Moon, Harrison writes, "How unreal would this guy have been if he hadn't trekked north of the border to compete for six years? Moon did it for the chance to play quarterback, something the NFL didn't offer him in the 1970s. Still, what Moon was able to accomplish in the NFL from his late 20s on -- he threw for nearly 50,000 yards and almost 300 touchdowns -- earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame ... and on this list."
NFL.com's Bucky Brooks calls May's draft as deep and talented as any collection of prospects he's seen in his 20 years in the League, and he pegs 10 NFL Draft sleepers to keep an eye on next month.
NFL.com College Football 24/7 writer Bryan Fischer reveals his list of the 2014 NFL Draft's top candidates, projecting 18 players who are a "lock" to go in the first-round.
Chris Burke of SI.com highlights the Top 10 wide receivers available in this year's NFL Draft. Florida State wideout Kelvin Benjamin, who many project to the Seahawks at No. 32 overall, makes Burke's list at No. 5.
Burke also has his take on the Top 10 tight ends in this year's draft, where University of Washington Husky Austin Seferian-Jenkins is ranked at No. 3 and is projected to go off the board in the late-first or early-second round.
Brady Henderson of 710Sports.com passes along highlights from Danny O'Neil's latest "Hawk Talk" chat, discussing the future at linebacker for the Seahawks.
Here at Seahawks.com, I call attention to a charity event being put on by students at Washington State University to benefit former Seahawks cornerback Marcus Trufant's Family Foundation. Go Cougs.
And Digital Media Writer Clare Farnsworth takes a look at how defensive line coach Travis Jones would like his position group to improve in 2014.
