Seahawks offseason workout program dates announced

The 2014 NFL offseason workout program dates were announced today for each of the League's 32 clubs, giving the Seahawks and their fans a much clearer picture of what to expect in the coming weeks.
But before taking a look at Seattle's offseason program (outlined for you below), it's important to understand the three phases of each team's nine-week, voluntary workouts.
Phase One of the Seahawks offseason program kicks off on April 21 and features a two-week workout plan limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation.
Phase Two embodies the next three weeks of the program, where on-field workouts, individual player instruction and drills, and team practice managed on a "separates" basis is permitted. No live contact or team offense against team defense drills are allowed in Phase Two.
Phase Three consists of the final four weeks of the nine-week program. In this phase, running May 27 - June 19, teams are allowed to hold 10 days of organized team activities (OTAs). Again, no live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 offense against defense drills are approved.
Phase Three also features the Seahawks' three-day, mandatory veteran minicamp set to run June 17-19. During minicamp, the same practice rules used during OTAs apply.
One more event not outlined below are the post-NFL Draft rookie minicamps, which will come on either the first or second weekend following the 2014 NFL Draft (May 8-10 at New York City's Radio City Music Hall). Read
