Celebrating Seahawks players' #FirstTweet on Twitter's 8th birthday

Since its launch in 2006, Twitter has provided a unique and powerful tool of social communication through 140-character based messages, known as "tweets."
Today, Twitter celebrates its eighth birthday and with it a way to look back on your - or anyone else's - very first tweet. It's an interesting way to see how far the social media platform has come, and for me, a reminder of how stale and unoriginal that first thought flown into cyberspace really was.
Seahawks players, coaches, and staff use the social network on a day-to-day basis to stay connected with friends, family, fans, the media, as well as to build their own personal brand. Here's a fun look back at some of the Seahawks' very first tweets:
