Friday Round-Up: Seahawks own four of Top-10 selling jerseys in NFL
Good morning, 12th Man.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Friday, March 7 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Darren Rovell of ESPN.com reports the Seahawks' No. 12 "FAN" jersey has climbed into the Top 10 of jersey sales across the entire NFL. A trio of Seahawks players also crack the Top 10, with quarterback Russell Wilson at No. 1, running back Marshawn Lynch at No. 5, and cornerback Richard Sherman leading all defensive players at No. 6. Rovell writes, "With a month to go before the league's fiscal year is complete, the Seahawks remain in the No. 1 spot, selling more merchandise than any other team."
Terry Blount of ESPN.com reacts to Todd McShay's latest mock draft, saying "this is the right man in the right spot" of UCLA's Su'a-Filo to Seattle. Blount also wraps up his countdown of the Seahawks top offensive plays of 2013, with wide receiver Jermaine Kearse's 43-yard touchdown against the Carolina Panthers in Week 1 coming in at No. 2, and wide receiver Golden Tate's 80-yard score against the St. Louis Rams in Week 8 landing at No. 1.
