Bennett, who led the team in sacks (8.5) last season and is scheduled to become a free agent on March 11, says early talks with coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Schneider "have been positive" and that he hopes to remain in the Emerald City.
Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times passes word from coach Pete Carroll who says the Seahawks "maybe" have a chance to get back defensive end Red Bryant and wide receiver Sidney Rice. The veteran duo was released last Friday.
