Good morning, 12th Man.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Wednesday, Feb. 26 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
Eric Edholm of Yahoo! Sports details the winners and losers of the NFL Scouting Combine, liking what he saw from Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson, and Oregon St. wide receiver Brandin Cooks, among others. Cooks, who ran the fastest 40-yard dash at the combine in Adidas' adizero 5-star company cleats (4.33 seconds), won $100,000 in a competition put on by the brand. Cooks' 40-time was actually the second-fastest at this year's convention, losing out to Kent St.'s Dri Archer (4.26), who wasn't wearing the shoes in his workout.
Robert Mays of Grantland.com has his winners and losers piece from the NFL Combine, also pointing to Auburn offensive tackle Greg Robinson. The 6-foot-5, 332-pound mauler ran a 4.92 in the 40-yard dash - second-best at his position - and Mays isn't afraid to dub him "the most highly-coveted tackle in the draft."
