Seahawks fans came out in droves on Saturday in San Diego.
It was family day here at the VMAC as the Seahawks had their last practice of the week before heading to San Diego tomorrow for a preaseon matchup against the Chargers on Saturday.
The Seahawks signed nine players to future contracts Thursday, including guard Jared Smith (pictured), who was a seventh-round draft last year.
Smith was on the practice squad to start the season, but finished it on injured reserve after damaging a knee in October.
Also signed: cornerback Akeem Auguste, wide receivers Phil Bates and Arceto Clark, defensive tackles Michael Brooks, Dewayne Cherrington and D’Anthony Smith, quarterback B.J. Daniels and tight end Cooper Helfet.
They also spent time on the practice squad during the season.
