Good morning, 12th Man. Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Friday, Jan. 31 - about your Seattle Seahawks, two days before Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.
Ron Jaworski of ESPN.com looks at how Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning can effectively attack the Seahawks defense. Jaworski's column is an Insider feature, but here's a small sample of what he had to say, "Manning is one of the best at manipulating coverage and moving defenders. If he can move deep safety Earl Thomas effectively, it could open up voids down the seams, particularly for TE Julius Thomas when he is aligned tight to the formation. If Denver does strike deep, this is the most likely scenario. And remember, while Thomas is a brilliant player, he can't climb the ladder to high-point a pass at the same level as Thomas, who has a handful of inches on the shorter safety."
