World Premiere: "Winner" by Eastlake Community Church
Russell Wilson's first event benefitting his Why Not You Foundation featured the debut of Wilson's very own Costacos Brothers poster. Former Seahawks Steve Largent and Brian Bosworth, who also have their own Costacos Brothers posters, were in attendance and participated in a panel with Wilson, John and Tock Costacos. EastLake Community Church is at it again.
Today, the Puget Sound-area church released the song "Winner" as the Seahawks were getting in their final practice before hitting the road for Super Bowl XLVIII in New York/New Jersey.
The track recaps the Seahawks' NFC Championship win over the San Francisco 49ers to the tune of "Timber" by Pitbull ft. Kesha, celebrating the second Super Bowl berth in franchise history.
You may already be familiar with their sound, as we featured their "Can't Stop The Seahawks" track at No. 3 in our list of 12 Seahawks anthems to get you pumped up for last Sunday's NFC Championship. That ballad was preluded by "BeastMode & Coach Pete," which together have accounted for more than 200,000 views on YouTube.
Based on your feedback, we'll be putting together another Seahawks anthems article before the Seahawks kickoff against the Denver Broncos on Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium. But in the meantime, enjoy these efforts from EastLake Community Church, with "Winner" available for download right here.
