No Seahawks game this Sunday? No problem.
The 12th Man is invited to rally in the city of SeaTac at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 26, to help send-off the Seahawks to Super Bowl XLVIII against the Denver Broncos in New York/New Jersey.
Team buses will make their way from Virginia Mason Athletic Center to SeaTac Airport around 10:30 a.m., traveling along SeaTac's South 188th Street, where 12s will line the roadway beginning at 46th Ave. South and extending west toward 28th Ave. South. Wave your 12 flags, flaunt your favorite blue and green getup, showcase your signs of support, and let the club hear your cheers as they make their way out of town.
Parking is available at the nearby Tyee Educational Complex, Chinook Middle School, Bow Lake Elementary School, SeaTac City Hall, Angle Lake Park, and paid parking is also available at adjacent airport lots. Due to construction, 28th Ave. South will be closed to pedestrians and non-permitted vehicles.
The Seahawks kickoff Super Bowl XLVIII against the Broncos at 3:30 p.m. PT on Sunday, Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium, with national television coverage available on FOX (channel 13 in Seattle).
