RENTON, Wash. - The Seahawks announced today a new landing page on the team's website to further unite fans via social media. The new landing page, presented by Bing, allows fans from around the world to "tap in" and demonstrate their support of the team. The site will display top cities and countries of fans that participate on a world map in real time. Fans are invited to "tap in" at Seahawks.com/ImIn.
The team launched a playoff promotion last week around the hashtag #Hawkitecture.
Companies and local building owners are invited to show their passion and support for the team by adding a Seahawks theme, i.e., flags, signage, colors, lights, etc., to the exterior of their building or structure. The #Hawkitecture must be visible to the general public.
Companies that share images by using the hashtag #Hawkitecture via social media will be eligible to win a customized 12 jersey and a flag raising event with a Seahawks player. A winner will be announced on Thursday, January 9.
All entries will be judged on the following criteria: originality, creativity and overall use of available space.
Fans are encouraged to join the conversation via social media with their comments and photos by utilizing Seahawks playoff hashtags including: #TappedIn, #GoHawks, #LOUDER, #WeAre12 and #BingHawks. Read
