Tuesday Round-Up: Percy Harvin hopes to be ready for playoffs; 2014 opponents set
Good morning, 12th Man.
Here's a look at what's "out there" for today - Tuesday, December 31 - about your Seattle Seahawks:
The big news to come the day after Sunday's division-clinching win over the St. Louis Rams was that wide receiver Percy Harvin will be back at practice this week.
"Percy's going to practice with us when we get back [on Thursday] with the intention of playing in this next game," Carroll told reporters on Monday. "We'll see what happens. That's the intention."
Harvin last saw action in the team's Week 11 win over the Minnesota Vikings, hauling in a key third-down reception and ripping off a 58-yard kickoff return. He was unable to return to practice after the team's Week 12 bye due to soreness in his surgically repaired hip. Nothing is certain about Harvin's status just yet, but the fact that he's getting back on the practice field for the first time in five weeks is encouraging.

Danny O'Neil of 710Sports.com has three things we learned and three things we're still trying to figure out after Sunday's division-clinching win over the Rams, noting the Seahawks' run defense is no longer a cause for concern.
Brady Henderson of 710Sports.com says head coach Pete Carroll is happy his playoff-bound club was tested toward the end of the regular season. Henderson also passes along comments from Carroll on the head coaching interest team's have in defensive coordinator Dan Quinn and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell.
