ATLANTA – Michael Brooks wasn’t just signed to the Seahawks’ 53-man roster on Saturday, the rookie defensive lineman is active for Sunday’s game against the Falcons at the Georgia Dome.
And that’s because of the same reason Brooks was elevated from the practice squad: defensive end Red Bryant (concussion) and defensive tackle Jordan Hill (biceps) are among the seven players just named inactive.
Also inactive are All-Pro center Max Unger, who also got a concussion in last week’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers; and right tackle Breno Giacomini, who will miss his seventh consecutive game in the final stage of returning from knee injury.
Also inactive for the Seahawks:
FB Derrick Coleman
SS Jeron Johnson
DE Benson Mayowa
Inactive for the Falcons:
RB Josh Vaughan
S Kemal Ishmael
LB Thomas Howard
OG Harland Gunn
OT Sam Baker
WR Brian Robiskie
DE Cliff Matthews
