1976: The Seahawks win their first game, 17-16 over the Chargers, as tight end Ron Howard catches a 3-yard TD pass from Jim Zorn with 13 seconds left in the preseason matchup at the Kingdome. The expansion club had opened its first preseason – a six-game preseason – with losses to the 49ers at the Kingdome, the Bears in Spokane, the L.A. Rams at the Kingdome and the Broncos in Denver.
