Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have released defensive back Ray Polk and signed tight end Michael Palmer, the team announced today.
Polk signed with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Colorado on April 27, 2013.
Palmer played in 43 games with five starts over the last three seasons for the Atlanta Falcons after signing with the team as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 26, 2010. During his time in Atlanta, Palmer recorded 21 receptions for 123 yards and three touchdowns. On May 12, 2013, he signed with the New York Giants as an unrestricted free agent, until being released on May 29.
