Seahawks Make Roster Moves
The Seahawks visited Southwest Boys & Girls Club on Tuesday, October 18 for the annual Hometown Huddle, an NFL-wide day of community service. Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have placed cornerback Walter Thurmond on injured reserve and cornerback Brandon Browner's suspension has expired and he returns to the 53-man active roster, the team announced today. On the practice squad, Seattle released wide receiver Corbin Louks and signed defensive tackle Vaughn Meatoga and cornerback Ron Parker to the practice squad.
Thurmond opened the season on the physically unable to perform list for nine weeks, then was inactive for two games before playing in two games with one start and ending the season inactive for the final three games (hamstring). He finished with three solo tackles and one pass defensed.
