Seahawks Encourage Fans to Plan Ahead for December 30 Game

Seahawks players reported to Renton's Virginia Mason Athletic Center on Friday to prepare for the start of the team's 2016 training camp, which opens Saturday, July 30 with the first of 13 practices open to the public.
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane visited Kansas City, Kansas on Wednesday, July 27 to help bridge the fundraising gap for the Della Gill/Joyce H. Williams Shelter for Survivors of Domestic Violence to expand and enhance housing and program capacity for survivors and their children. RENTON, Wash. - The Seahawks invite fans to plan ahead and arrive early for the Seahawks versus the St. Louis Rams game at CenturyLink Field on Sunday, December 30. Kick-off is scheduled for 1:25 p.m., Touchdown City will open at 10 a.m. and stadium gates open at 11 a.m.
Fans can take Sounder trains to King Street Station, Link light rail or utilize ST Express bus service to CenturyLink Field. Due to mudslides, Sounder train service between Everett and Seattle has been cancelled. South Line Sounder service from Lakewood to Seattle will run as scheduled.
Metro shuttles will leave the Eastgate Park-and-Ride, Northgate Transit Center, and South Kirkland Park-and-Ride beginning two hours before kick-off. Each shuttle will leave as it is filled. The last shuttle leaves for the game about 35 minutes before kickoff. All pre-game shuttles arrive near CenturyLink Field northbound on Fifth Avenue South at South Weller Street. Cash-only fare is $4 each way or $8 for a round trip. No ORCA cards or passes are accepted for the shuttles. Exact change is required. Buses returning to Eastgate and South Kirkland leave on southbound Fifth Avenue South at South Weller Street, and the Northgate shuttle leaves northbound on Fifth Avenue South from just north of South Weller Street.
