Renton, Wash. – The Seattle Seahawks have released both wide receiver Charly Martin from the active roster and wide receiver Lavasier Tuinei from the practice squad, the team announced today.
Martin signed with Seattle on January 5, 2012, playing in four games with one start. He recorded 4 catches for 42 yards in addition to one special teams tackle. He was declared inactive for five games, one of which was due to a chest injury (Dallas, 9/16).
Tuinei agreed to terms with Seattle as an undrafted rookie free agent on April 28, 2012. He was released during the final round of roster cut-downs on August 31, but was signed to the practice squad on October 31.
