Renton, Wash. -- The Seattle Seahawks and Seattle Sounders FC will open a new retail location in downtown Seattle on July 1, the teams announced today. The Pro Shop will be located at 410 Pike Street on the corner of Pike Street and Fifth Avenue, adjacent to the LOFT by Ann Taylor.
The 3,300 square-foot store will feature a wide variety of Seahawks and Sounders FC team merchandise, including authentic jerseys, outerwear, hats, household items and sports jewelry, along with women's and children's clothing. Since relocating, the teams have closed their previous location in Pacific Place.
Complimentary Seahawks and Sounders FC theme doughnuts will be distributed by Top Pot on Friday and Saturday morning. The club's Street Team members will be passing out joint team schedule magnets and blue and green beads throughout the weekend. All promotional items are while supplies last.
Grand opening weekend activities include appearances by the Sea Gals, Blitz, Seahawks Blue Thunder drumline, Sounders FC Sound Wave brass band and Sounders FC Academy players.
The Pro Shop will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
