Renton, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have waived running back LenDale White, the team announced this afternoon.
"It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks," said General Manager John Schneider. "It just did not appear to be the right fit at this point in our program. We wish LenDale all the best with his future."
Seattle acquired White in a draft-day trade with the Tennessee Titans that included defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson, a fourth-round pick (#111, CB Walter Thurmond) and a sixth-round pick (#185, TE Anthony McCoy) for Seattle's fourth-round pick (#104) and sixth-round pick (#176).
