
Seattle Seahawks pre-season telecasts air on Q13 (FOX) in the Seattle market. Beyond Seattle, the Seahawks Television network reaches the entire state of Washington as well as Oregon, Alaska, Idaho, & Montana.
The Seahawks have the third largest television network in the NFL covering 1.8 million households in the Seattle/Tacoma area and over 3.3 million households network-wide.
Curt Menefee begins his first season with the Seahawks broadcasting team as the play-by-play announcer for the preseason telecasts. Menefee currently hosts FOX's award-winning NFL pre-game show, FOX NFL Sunday. Prior to taking over as full-time host in 2007, he worked as a sideline reporter for FOX before moving to the booth to call play-by-play for the NFL and NFL Europe. League games on Fox Sports and ROOT Sports. Menefee has also been a staple in the New York sports world since 1985 at WNYW FOX5 and MSG, where he continued to work until 2004.
Before coming to New York, Menefee worked at KTVT-TV in Dallaswhere he also hosted a daily two-hour show on The Ticket sports radio. He also anchored sports for WTLV-TV (NBC) in Jacksonville, and served as a sports anchor and reporter at WISC-TV (CBS) in Madison, WI and WOI-TV (ABC) in Des Moines, IA.
Menefee has received several awards for his sports anchoring and reporting, including the Associated Press Award for Best Sports Reporter in New York and four Katie Awards (the Texas equivalent of an Emmy) for Best Sportscast and Best Sports Special.
Hall of Fame quarterback, Warren Moon, returns to the Seahawks broadcast team for his seventh season as the preseason television analyst. Moon served as the preseason analyst for the 2002 and 2003 seasons before returning to the TV booth in 2005. He will move back to the Seahawks radio booth as the in-game analyst once the regular season commences and has spent recent years as a Westwood One radio analyst and sideline reporter while also spending time in the booth during Fox Sports Net's Pac-10 College Game of the Week.
