Hey ladies! Grab your girlfriends and learn about the game of football! The Seattle Seahawks Women’s Association is hosting a ‘Football 101’ workshop on Saturday, October 29th at the Virginia Mason Athletic Center (VMAC) in Renton.
This interactive workshop is designed to teach you the technical side of the game, including the basic rules and fundamentals.
The workshop will feature a Q&A with current players, classroom instruction, and the opportunity to run drills and play a mock game in the VMAC Indoor Practice Facility.
Participants will receive a Seahawks “Football 101” playbook, the opportunity for autographs from current Seahawks players, a reception catered by El Gaucho - Presenting Partner of the Seahawks Women’s Association, and a special gift bag!
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Pink Daisy Project and the Young Survival Coalition Seattle. The event is part of a broader NFL campaign to raise awareness for breast cancer during the month of October.
