Community has been a way of life for the Holmgren family, with one Seattle cause holding a special place in the hearts of Kathy & Mike. That cause is the Pike Market Medical Clinic where Kathy has devoted her expertise as a diabetes nurse to serving people who would otherwise have no health care. Pike Market Medical Clinic has been the leading provider of affordable medical and mental health care in downtown Seattle, serving over 4,000 people a year who would likely go without care if not for the clinic. Patients are typically low-income, with one-third completely without insurance or health coverage, and over one-quarter of them are homeless.

Your support of the Pike Market Medical Clinic is an enduring way to recognize the community contributions made by Mike and Kathy to residents of the Puget Sound area. The clinic counts on contributions to support its operations and provide visits to patients unable to afford care. Grants and other revenue sources cover all but an average of $20 per visit. Your gift of $20 will allow a patient in need to receive valuable medical services. A gift of $100 will provide visits for 5 patients. And at the $1,000 Major Donor level, your name or your organization's name will be engraved in a plaque along with Kathy & Mike, at Pike Market Medical Clinic.
