Dance Background: I have been dancing since I was three years old, and have been trained in jazz, contemporary, ballet, tap, and hip hop. I was on a studio competitive dance team for six years at Auburn Dance Academy. During my last two years competing, I took first place with my hip hop groups at nationals! I was also a varsity cheerleader in high school, and was selected as a captain my senior year. In college, I danced on the WWU Hip Hop dance team for four years as a member and choreographer. I also co-founded and ran the WWU tap dance club.
Hobbies: Besides dancing, I like to be outdoors! I love hiking, going for walks, and being out by the water! I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family.
Favorite Quote: One of my favorites would be, “Life is not about weathering the storm…it’s about learning to dance in the rain”. I believe in making the best out of every circumstance in life, and I think this quote embodies that.
Best Experience: The best experience being on the Sea Gals so far would be hearing my number called at the finals auditions, knowing I made the team! It was such a surreal moment. Hard work truly pays off!
How I Stay Fit: I stay fit by eating clean, and being consistent in my workout routine. I weight lift five to six days a week, as well as adding different types of cardio in. Some of my favorites are Zumba, MixxedFit, doing the Stairmaster, and running! I also set small fitness goals to always stay motivated during my workouts.
