Years as a Sea Gal: 2
Dance Background: Four years of jazz and hip-hop training, one year of lyrical, and one of NFL.
Hobbies: I enjoy hiking, especially in the Olympic Mountains. The Pacific Northwest leaves me standing in awe of creation and reminds me to appreciate what a beautiful place I am so lucky to live in. I also enjoy creative writing--especially on the side of a mountain.
Favorite Quote: “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.” -Eleanor Roosevelt
Best Experience: In 2011, I spent a semester abroad in Queensland, Australia. I attended Griffith University and learned a lot about myself and the world through that experience. I made friends from all over the world and life-long connections that I cherish. And, just a little bonus, I can do a pretty amazing Aussie accent! G’day!
How I Stay Fit: I run every day, usually in the morning. Cardio in the morning jump-starts my metabolism and lets me start my day with purpose and energy. I also attend group fitness classes, and adhere to an adage of my invention, “Push-ups make you pretty.”
Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: The best part of being a Sea Gal is the immense increase in chances to make a difference in the greater Seattle community. As a Sea Gal, I often have access to extremely special opportunities to touch lives in big ways.
