Learn More About This Sea Gal

Occupation:  Student

High School:  Auburn Riverside High School (Auburn, WA)

College: Portland State University

Major or Degree:  Communication

Years as a Sea Gal:  2

Dance Background: I first started my dance training at Evergreen City Ballet in Auburn, Washington.  I spent eight years at this studio, with rigorous focus on ballet and pointe work. At age twelve, I was accepted into The Rock Ballet School’s summer intensive program where I continued my ballet training. At this time, I was also exposed to various styles such as: jazz, modern, lyrical and hip hop. During high school, I spent some time with Spectrum Dance Theatre in Seattle, Washington. I then moved to Portland, Oregon and performed for three seasons on the Portland State Dance Team. My exposure to college cheer/dance changed my life guiding me towards pursuing  a career in the NFL.

Hobbies: In terms of outdoor activities, I enjoy traveling, biking, hiking and running. I am a fan of the kitchen and appreciate cooking various dishes, especially dinner items. I also have a huge soft spot for musical theater/ballet and try to attend local performances whenever I can. I also love interior design and frequently spend my time redecorating or refurbishing antique furniture.

Favorite Quote:  "“Miracles happen… Vulnerable hearts. Willing souls. Relentless commitment. Unrestrained vision. Unfiltered confidence. Optimism. Intention. Prayer. Making spaces for the impossible to have room to fit. Kindness without obligation. The ability to imagine, innovate and incubate. Embracing all manner of abundance and currency. Miracles travel on roads paved with service, willingness and compassion.”
 –Mary Anne Radmacher

Best Experience: Dancing at Super Bowl XLVIII  in New York and dominating the field, becoming world champions. Let’s have a repeat!

How I Stay Fit: I run a mile every day and do a series of sprints in my weekly workouts. I also take a variety of workout/dance classes. I try to eat clean incorporating a lot of protein and vegetables into my diet, but I also think it’s important to indulge yourself every once in a while.

Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: The best part of being a Sea Gal is the everlasting friendships. I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many talented, smart, dedicated and professional women. I can’t wait to continue learning from this amazing program, not only growing as a dancer but also as a person.
