Occupation: Project Manager for a Global Leadership Consulting Firm
High School: Peninsula High School (Palos Verdes, CA)
College: Oregon State University
Major or Degree: BS in Speech Communications
Years as a Sea Gal: Rookie
Dance Background: I grew up competing internationally in rhythmic gymnastics, where ballet was a required part of the intensive training. Then I naturally transitioned to dance, and I danced for an NBA team for 8 years.
Hobbies: Watching lots of sports, fishing, interior design, crabbing, snowboarding, hiking, camping, laughing, gardening, golfing, running and really anything that involves being outdoors.
Major Goal I Have Met: I was selected to be an All-Star Dancer for the first ever NBA All-Star Dance Team in Las Vegas. The NBA held an online global vote and one dancer from each NBA team was selected. I got to dance with Christina Aguilera, Mary J Blige, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, and I got a kiss on the cheek from Wayne Newton! It was truly an amazing experience.
Best Experience: Some of my best experiences have been traveling the world (almost all seven continents). I think it’s a toss-up between playing with tigers in Thailand to skydiving in New Zealand!
How I Stay Fit: When I work out and feel like I can’t possibly make it through two more minutes, I push through it and tell myself, I can do anything for two more minutes! I also enjoy life and splurge on some of my favorite foods, but all in moderation. I love Mexican food and peanut M&Ms!
Best Advice: Don’t sweat the small stuff! Life is too short to stress over things that you can’t control.
Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: Preforming for the 12th MAN in the NFL’s loudest stadium! Also, the amazingly talented, intelligent and beautiful women that I get to work with each day. I feel very lucky for this experience.
