Learn More About This Sea Gal

Occupation:  Front Desk Receptionist at Fitness Center

High School:  Tumwater High School (Tumwater, WA)

College: Centralia College

Major or Degree:  Associated in Arts: Exercise Science

Years as a Sea Gal:  2 Years

Dance Background: I danced at Debbie's Dance Studio in Lacey for 9 years where I studied jazz and ballet. I was also on the varsity dance team at Tumwater High School for 4 years. We competed very successfully in the pom, hip hop and jazz divisions at the state and national level.

Hobbies: Dancing and coaching are two very demanding hobbies, but with the free time I do have I love working out, being with friends and family and going camping.

Major Accomplishment:  In 2011 I had two huge accomplishments. The first was when I took the JV dance team from Tumwater to nationals in Florida in 2011 to compete in the hip hop category with a routine I had co-choreographed. They took 6th place in the final competition! I could not have been more proud of them.  Two short months later, I tried out for the Sea Gals for the third time in a row and finally made the squad for the 2011 football season. I feel so honored to be part of such an amazing group of women!

Major Goal I Have Met:  My best experience was stepping out onto the field to do my first pre-game performance with the Sea Gals last season. I will never forget that feeling of seeing the crowd for the first time and being so excited to dance for them. It has always been a dream of mine to be a Sea Gal and that was the moment i realized i had finally accomplished my dream.

Best Experience: Last Christmas we put on the annual Sea Gal Auction to help raise money for less fortunate women and children. With such amazing donations and buyers we were able to fulfill many of the families Christmas wishes. The entire experience was so humbling, eye opening, and wonderful. It truly was one of the best experiences I have ever been a part of.

How I Stay Fit: I lift weights! I usually focus on one muscle group per day and try to push myself further everytime by adding more sets or changing up my routine. It is important to keep your routine interesting so you keep making progress and dont plateau. Dancing is a great source for cardio and really help you keep energy up. I keep a balanced diet and try to eat more protein on days that I lift.

Best Advice: Take advantage of the opportunities given to you now because life is too short to pass them by.

Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: My favorite parts of being a Sea Gal are having the opportuny to meet a lot of different people while doing promotiond and cheering for the loudest fans in the NFL.
