Learn More About This Sea Gal

Occupation: Student

High School: Sumner High School (Sumner, WA)

College: University of Washington

Major or Degree:  Communications

Years as a Sea Gal:  2

Dance Background: I’ve been dancing for 16 years now. I’ve been trained in ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, and hip hop. If I had to choose a favorite, it would definitely be tap.

Hobbies: Other hobbies besides dance include snow skiing, wakeboarding, water skiing, hot yoga, and spending time with my friends and family. I keep a pretty busy schedule, so I love the time that I get to spend with them.

Favorite Quote:  My favorite quote is the serenity prayer. I always try to apply this to situations in my life. “Got grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.”

Best Experience: My absolute best experience was obviously getting to cheer on our Hawks at the Super Bowl! However, if I had to choose one specific moment while I was in New York, it would be getting to dance at the Red Hot Chili Peppers concert with nine other girls. The energy there was so fun and it was something that I’ll only experience once in my lifetime!

How I Stay Fit: Besides dancing all the time, I go to the gym regularly; I run a lot and do different toning exercises, abs and lunges are my favorite. I love anything that involves the outdoors, so I enjoy going on hikes also.

Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: The best part about being a Sea Gal is being out there on the field every game day. There is no other feeling like it. The energy of the 12th man is electric and I can’t wait to help you cheer our team onto victory again this year! Go Hawks!
