Learn More About This Sea Gal

Occupation:  Stylist, Dance Teacher, and Choreographer

High School:  Skyview High School (Boise, ID)

College: Boise State University

Major or Degree:  Theatre Arts with a Dance Emphasis

Years as a Sea Gal:  2 Years

Dance Background: Extensive training in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Ballroom and Musical Theatre. Danced for nationally ranked teams in both High School and College. Also, spent time in Los Angeles dancing professionally as well as assisting the city’s top choreographers.

Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Wake boarding, Traveling, Creating new recipes, Walking my dogs, and spending time with my friends and family.

Major Goal I Have Met:  In the past five years I have won over 15 choreography awards in various states in the U.S. This is a major accomplishment in my life, I have always dreamed of being a choreographer and now after a lot of hard work and tenacity I get to live that dream.

Best Experience: Last Christmas we put on the annual Sea Gal Auction to help raise money for less fortunate women and children. With such amazing donations and buyers we were able to fulfill many of the families Christmas wishes. The entire experience was so humbling, eye opening, and wonderful. It truly was one of the best experiences I have ever been a part of.

How I Stay Fit: I believe in keeping fitness fun and interesting! I vary my exercises with hot yoga, weight training and a variety of dance cardio classes. I also place a big importance on eating as clean as possible throughout the week but feel that it’s equally important to give myself a break now and then and occasionally indulge in my favorites!

Best Advice: Set goals for yourself and believe you can reach them! You are the only one that determines where you go in life so make every second count towards who you want to become and where you want to be!

Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: The best part of being a Sea Gal is getting to be a part of the Seahawk Family! Not only are our Choreographers and Director amazing, each and every girl is classy, beautiful and talented. However, the biggest piece of the Seahawk family is the fans! The support we receive from our community is incredible and I am so thankful I get to be a part of it. Go Hawks!
