Learn More About This Sea Gal

Occupation: Student

High School: Olympia High School (Olympia, WA)

College: Portland State University

Major or Degree:  B.S. in Health Sciences

Years as a Sea Gal:  Rookie

Dance Background:  I danced at a studio for about five years and was a cheerleader in high school. I was also a member/captain of the Portland State dance team.

Hobbies: When I'm not dancing, I love spending time with my family and my miniature Maltese named Edith. My brothers and I like to play different sports together like basketball and soccer. I also like to read when I'm not studying from a school-related book.

Favorite Quote:  I received a card once that said, "Do one thing everyday that scares you." Whenever I am hesitant to do something, I think of the card and tell myself to just get my one thing out of the way.

Best Experience: For awhile, I worked as a Physician Scribe in an emergency room. I basically followed a doctor around as they saw each patient and filled out their charts for them. I was able to see so many crazy things and also see the ER from a doctor's perspective.

How I Stay Fit: I am very passionate about nutrition and preventive health (my plan is to earn a masters in nutrition) so I really try to take care of my body. I work out 6 days a week, even if I only have time for 20 minutes. I try to rotate between running, yoga, stairs and circuit training. I eat clean, organic foods most of the time but also don't forget to treat myself every once in awhile.

Best Part of Being a Sea Gal: Being part of such a talented, intelligent, and caring group of women
