Continuing there efforts to give back to the community, the Deion Branch Charitable Foundation hosted a holiday extravaganza at Treehouse for 30 kids. With Deion leading the event activities the night was filled with laughter and fun.
Highlights of the holiday party included an appearance by Blitz, the Seahawks mascot, a magician, face painting, balloon animals, pizza, photographs, goodie bags, and the Deion Branch Superstore. Photo Gallery
At the Deion Branch Superstore each child was able to choose one gift from an assortment of Seahawks items to take home with them. Some of the goodies to choose from included Seahawks jackets, sweaters, mini-helmets, footballs, board games, hats, and #83 jerseys. No child left empty handed that night.
Treehouse makes a difference in the lives of King County foster children by providing services that supplement their material needs, help them learn, and give them a real childhood as well as hope for the future. These services include Tutoring, Educational Advocacy, Coaching-to-College, Little Wishes, Summer Camp and the Wearhouse. Treehouse serves more than 3,000 foster kids a year, and is the leading organization of its kind in the state.
