Over 200 campers are participating in the Seahawks’ first JPD camp of the 2006 season in Burley, Idaho. The Burley camp runs from May 1st-13th. To view pictures of the camp please click here. During the month of July the Seattle Seahawks will host JPD Camps in Everett, Seattle and Tacoma.
The Seattle Seahawks Junior Player Development camps are FREE, one or two-week long tackle youth football camps designed to teach boys and girls ages 12 to 14 the fundamentals of football. JPD not only teaches basic football fundamentals, but prepares young athletes to play a wide range of positions. Incorporated into each camp is life skill sessions geared toward educating kids on the importance of not only working hard on the field, but in school, at home, and in the community.
Official sign-ups for the Seahawks JPD Camps in Everett, Seattle and Tacoma begin on June 1st. However, due to the overwhelming demand for the program, parents can register on the “JPD interest” list by emailing Kevin Griffin at griffink@seahawks.com.
