A closer look at three of the 2,575 members of the 12th Man that turned out for Tuesday’s fifth practice at the Seahawks training camp presented by Bing.

The first practice following the players’ first off day at Seahawks training camp presented by Bing attracted a crowd of 2,575 fans – including one who was wearing No. 16 University of Wisconsin jersey; another who watched December’s 42-13 victory over the 49ers from the sideline; and another who had visions of snowflakes dancing in his head.

Joe Fleury

Age: 33

From: Ballard

Fan since: “Since I was little,” said Fleury, who was accompanied by his son – Kayden, 10; and daughter, Mason, 2.

Favorite current player: Golden Tate. “I’m a Notre Dame fan. I grew up watching Notre Dame football,” Fleury said. So why was he wearing a red No. 16 Russell Wilson University of Wisconsin jersey from the quarterback’s one season with the Badgers? “I’m just a big college football fan, college football in general,” he said. “I love the way that they play the game in college. And not many people get the college jerseys of the pro players. I have a Golden Tate Notre Dame jersey, too.”

Favorite all-time Seahawk: Curt Warner. “Just the way he ran the ball,” Fleury said. “And he was a great college player (at Penn State).”

Favorite moment in franchise history: “Probably when Largent got the record for touchdowns,” he said of the 1989 game against the Bengals in Cincinnati when Steve Largent caught the 100th – and final – TD pass of his career to break the NFL all-time record that had been held by Don Hutson.

Linda Cowan

Age: 46

From: Everett

Fan since: “Since I was a kid. Back in the Kingdome, my parents had season tickets.”

Favorite current player: She pointed to the No. 3 Russell Wilson jersey she was wearing. “Because of his integrity, and he’s hardworking and a good leader; disciplined and illuminating.

Favorite all-time Seahawk: “Back in the era of Dan Doornink and Steve Largent and Jim Zorn and all those guys. Dan Doornink is from eastern Washington, and they were just good, solid, all-around people.”

Favorite moment in franchise history: “The last game against the 49ers last year. I’m actually a good friend of one of the photographers for the Seahawks (Larry Maurer), so he had me support him. I was carrying all his gear. I was right at the end zone when Doug Baldwin caught that touchdown. I was like right there. So for me that was a very cool moment because I was on the field the whole game and it was very exciting.”

Josiah Garmas

Age: 11

From: Everett

Fan since: “Forever,” said Garmas, who was with his father, Travis; and his father’s friend, Steven Stromberg.

Favorite current player: “I don’t know. I don’t have a favorite player.”

Favorite all-time Seahawk: “I don’t know,” said Garmas, who was wearing a Patrick Kerney No. 97 jersey. “I don’t have a favorite. I like them all.”

Favorite moment in franchise history: “It’s when it was snowing,” he said of the Monday night game against the Packers in 2006 at CenturyLink Field. “I was 4, so that’s the only thing I remember – that it was snowing.”
